Marble Countertops may release hazardous radon gas!

Real Estate Tip #628
Beware that certain types of marble used in countertops has been found to be releasing hazardous levels of radon gas. Some marble can contain high levels of Uranium releasing radiation and radon gas.
Bottom line, if you are buying a house with marble countertops, have it tested with a geiger counter!
